Cynghorau Ysgol/ School councils

Mae cynghorau’r ysgol wedi cael eu hethol gan eu cyd-ddisgyblion i gynrychioli eu llais a chodi materion sy’n bwysig. The school councils have been elected by their classmates to represent their voice and raise issues that are important.

Yn cynrychioli’r ysgol mae ganddom Cyngor Ysgol, Cyngor Eco, Criw Cymraeg a Llysgenhadon chwaraeon – Representing the school we have a School Council, an Eco Council, a Criw Cymraeg and Sports ambassadors

Er mwyn bod yn effeithiol, rhaid i’r cynghorwyr:- In order to be effective, the councilors must:-

gynrychioli yr holl ddisgyblion y gorau y gallem – represent all the pupils as best we can

gymryd amser i wrando ar yr holl ddisgyblion ac i gyfleu eu llais – take time to listen to all pupils and to convey their voice

rhoi adborth yn ol i ddisgyblion am yr hyn ddigwyddodd am eu barn/syniadau – give feedback back to pupils about what happened about their opinions/ideas

wneud i bethau ddigwydd – neu esbonio pam nad yw hyn yn bosib weithiau – make things happen – or explain why this is sometimes not possible.

Mae’r cynghorau yma yn cyd fynd gyda’r 4 diben – These councils go hand in hand with the 4 purposes.

Dysgwyr uchelgeisiol, galluog/Ambitious, capable learners

• Mae gen i awydd cryf i lwyddo./I have a strong desire to succeed.
• Rydw i’n cwblhau tasgau’n effeithiol ac yn fedrus./I complete tasks effectively and skillfully
• Rydw i’n agored i ddysgu gwybodaeth newydd a datblygu dealltwriaeth ddyfnach o bynciau gwahanol./I am open to learning new information and developing a deeper understanding of different subjects.

Dinesyddion egwyddorol, gwybodus/ Ethical, informed citizens

• Mae gen i hawl i’r wybodaeth berthnasol./ I have a right to the relevant information.
• Rydw i’n byw mewn gwlad ac mae gen i’r hawl i amddiffyniad gan y wlad yna./I live in a country and I have the right to protection from that country.
• Rydw i’n deall y gwahaniaeth rhwng da a drwg./I understand the difference between right and wrong

Unigolion iach, hyderus/ Healthy, confident individuals

• Rydw i’n dda ac yn gryf, yn feddyliol ac yn gorfforol./I am good and strong, mentally and physically.
• Rydw i’n gwybod pwy ydw i./I know who I am.
• Rydw i’n sicr o’m credodau ac yn hapus i’w rhannu./I am certain of my beliefs and happy to share them.

Cyfranwyr mentrus, creadigol/Enterprising, creative contributors

• Rydw i’n cymryd y cam cyntaf ac yn croesawu heriau newydd./I take the first step and welcome new challenges.
• Rydw i’n cyd-weithio’n effeithiol ac yn cynnig gwneud fy rhan./I work together effectively and offer to do my part.
• Mae gen i syniadau gwreiddiol ac unigryw./I have original and unique ideas.
